To enable one-time and direct charging with a credit card, a QR code is attached to each charging station. It looks as follows:

Scan this QR code with your mobile phone. This will take you straight to the payment page. 

If there is no QR code to scan, make a note of the charging station ID. You can find it at any time in our Swisscharge application. Then click here and enter the number of the top-up station. 

Please note! If you pay directly by credit card, amounts will be reserved on your credit card before loading:

- AC stations CHF 30.00 

- DC stations CHF 45.00

Depending on your credit card provider, you will be reimbursed for the difference with the actual amount of the charge within a few days or by the end of the month. 

Step-by-step instructions for charging with the QR code

1. connect your vehicle to the charging station by plugging the charging cable into your

2. On the charging station, there will be a sticker with a QR code. Scan it 

with your mobile phone. If not, you can go to the chge.eu website and enter the number of the recharging station.

3. Click on ‘Add payment method’.

4. Choose the payment method: TWINT or credit card.

     For TWINT, follow the instructions in the app.

5. The loading process begins, please leave the website open.

6. To end the charging process, go to the website again or end the process from the car.

7. The charging process is terminated.

8. Unplug the car and continue driving.
